Frequently Asked Questions
Question: How can I grow my business without working more hours?
Short answer:
Focus on the 20% of activities that generate 80% of results and streamline or outsource the rest.
Expanded answer:
A lot of people confuse being busy with being profitable. The truth? Only a handful of activities actually move the revenue needle. The key is to identify those and double down. That means more time on client work, sales conversations, and building scalable systems. You spend less time drowning in admin or tasks someone else could handle.
At Red Zebra Coaching, I help you cut the noise, focus on what matters, and grow your revenue without losing your sanity (or your weekends).
Question: What's the best way to deal with burnout?
Short answer:
Focus on what fuels revenue, set firm boundaries, and build systems so your business or team doesn’t rely on you for every little thing.
Expanded answer:
Burnout isn't a badge of honor. It's a business risk. It usually comes from trying to sprint in every direction at once. The fix isn’t more hustle. It’s creating smarter structures. Sustainable growth happens when you:
Lead with strategy, not stress. Work proactively from a clear plan instead of reacting to every fire.
Protect your energy. Schedule real downtime for rest, family, and personal life. That's non-negotiable.
Delegate what drains you. Hand off tasks that don’t generate revenue or aren’t in your zone of genius.
Stay accountable. Build in systems and support to keep yourself from slipping back into burnout habits.
At Red Zebra Coaching, I help business owners, leaders, and teams set up these guardrails so they can actually grow without burnout.
Question: What’s the most effective time management system?
Short answer:
There is no one-size-fits-all solution. The most effective system is the one that fits YOU, your natural energy patterns, work style, and business priorities. It's why cookie-cutter tools and trendy templates tend to fail.
Expanded answer:
Time management is highly personal. That's why I start by understanding when you work best, how you prefer to work, and what truly matters in your business. From there, we build a system tailored to your natural rhythms and priorities, not forced on you from someone else's template. The result? A system that actually sticks.
Question: How do I know if I’m spending time on the wrong things?
Short answer:
If it doesn’t generate revenue now or set you up for future growth, it’s probably the wrong thing.
Expanded answer:
Many entrepreneurs, business owners, and leaders get stuck in busywork loops, responding to emails, drowning in admin, or running from task to task. The simplest way to know if something is worth your time is to ask:
Does this generate income?
Does this set me up for future growth?
Is this the best use of my time today?
If the answer is “no,” that task is a strong candidate to delegate, automate, or eliminate. At Red Zebra Coaching, I help you cut through the noise so your time goes where it matters most.
Question: How can I balance my business and personal life?
Short answer:
Setting boundaries, aligning your business with your values, and treating rest as part of the growth plan.
Expanded answer:
Work-life balance doesn’t happen by accident. It requires:
Clear priorities between work and life
Boundaries around time and availability
A strategy that keeps growth manageable
Support systems that help you stay accountable
At Red Zebra Coaching, I help entrepreneurs design businesses that grow without consuming everything else that matters.
Question: What is business coaching, and how does it work?
Short answer:
Business coaching helps you cut through the noise, clarify your goals, focus on what actually drives profit, and build systems that support sustainable growth.
Expanded answer:
Think of a coach as your thinking partner and accountability ally. At Red Zebra Coaching, I don’t hand out cookie-cutter advice. I work with you to create personalized strategies that fit your business. Together, we’ll sharpen your action plan, focus your efforts, and build the systems you need to stop spinning your wheels and start moving forward with confidence.
Question: What’s the value of working with a business coach?
Short answer:
A coach uncovers what you can’t see, focuses you on what matters, and keeps you accountable to the business (and life) you actually want.
Expanded answer:
The real value of business coaching isn’t in more revenue. (Although it's a definite perk!) It’s finally leading your business and/or team with clarity, confidence, and less chaos. With the right business coach, you’ll gain:
Clear direction and focus
Strategies that drive profitability
Systems that free up your time
Accountability that keeps you on track
Renewed energy and momentum
At Red Zebra Coaching, I help you create a business that pays well and feels sustainable.

Question: What types of businesses do you work with?
Short answer:
I work with established solopreneurs, small business owners, and leaders who want more profit without more hustle.
Expanded answer:
My clients aren’t chasing their first sale—they’re already running a business or leading a team. The problem? They’re juggling too many responsibilities, pulled in different directions, and losing sight of what drives real results. If you’re craving clarity, ready to simplify, and want a smarter way to grow, you’re in the right place. Together, we’ll cut the noise, focus on what matters, and build a plan that helps you work less while achieving more.
Question: How do I know which coaching service is right for me?
Short answer:
It depends on what you need most: quick clarity, personalized support, team results, or rapid transformation.
Expanded answer:
Here’s a simple guide to help you choose:
Revenue Reset – Ideal for businesses tired of guessing where profits vanish + wanting clarity fast
Business Coaching and Strategy Consulting – Tailored for leaders ready to stop winging it + build strategy with support
Workshops & Facilitation – Designed for groups done with meeting purgatory + craving real results
Speaking – Built for events needing energy, insights + takeaways people actually use
Unsure which one fits best? No problem! Book a free 20-minute intro call and we’ll figure it out together.
Question: What’s your coaching style?
Short answer:
Direct, practical, collaborative, and encouraging. No gimmicks.
Expanded answer:
I work collaboratively with you to blend strategy with support. You’re a vital part of the process. You’ll always get honest feedback and actionable next steps, delivered with encouragement and clarity. My goal isn’t to drown you in theory or overload you with tools. It’s to work alongside you and focus on what actually works for your business. No gimmicks or impossible promises here - just sustainable results.
Question: How do you use AI with clients?
Short answer:
I use practical AI tools to help clients automate routine tasks, improve planning, and make faster decisions—without requiring any technical expertise.
Expanded answer:
As a Google Cloud Gen AI Leader certified consultant, I've integrated AI-powered tools into my coaching practice to help clients work more efficiently. This might mean using AI for scenario planning, forecasting, or automating repetitive administrative tasks. The goal isn't to make you tech-dependent—it's to free up your time for high-value work. I handle the technical side so you can focus on running your business.
Question: How much does business coaching cost?
Short answer:
Starting at $395 for a one-time Revenue Reset Session, or $425 per session for ongoing coaching. Package discounts available.
Expanded answer:
I believe in transparent pricing because you deserve to know what you're investing in before we even talk. Here's the breakdown:
Revenue Reset Session: $395 one-time for 90 minutes of focused strategy to identify revenue leaks and build an action plan.
Ongoing Coaching: $425 per session, or save with packages:
Momentum Package: $2,250 (3 months, 6 sessions)
Growth Package: $4,500 (6 months, 12 sessions)
Strategic Partner Package: $14,500 (12 months, 24 sessions + quarterly workshops)
Workshops & Speaking: Custom pricing based on your needs and scope.
Not sure which fits? Book a free 20-minute intro call and we'll figure it out together.
Question: Do you offer virtual sessions or only in-person?
Short answer:
Both. I work virtually with clients nationwide and in-person in the Bay Area.
Expanded answer:
Many clients work with me virtually via Zoom, which means they get focused and strategic support without the commute. It's flexible and efficient.
For Bay Area clients, I'm also available for in-person sessions. Some workshops and team facilitation work better face-to-face, so we'll figure out what works best for your situation.
Bottom line: you choose what fits your schedule and preferences.
Question: Where are you located?
Short answer:
I'm based in Novato, California. I support the clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and nationwide.
Expanded answer:
My home base is Novato in Marin County, California. I work with businesses throughout the Bay Area, including San Francisco, Marin, Oakland, Sonoma, Napa, San Jose, and beyond. Geography doesn't limit who I can help. Much of my coaching happens virtually, which means I work with entrepreneurs and leaders across the country. Whether you're local or remote, you get the same level of support and results.
Question: What's the difference between the Revenue Reset and ongoing coaching?
Short answer:
The Revenue Reset is a one-time deep dive to get clarity fast. Ongoing coaching is a partnership to build momentum and sustain growth.
Expanded answer:
Think of the Revenue Reset as your strategic starting point. It's 90 minutes focused on identifying what's draining your revenue and creating an action plan you can implement immediately. You walk away with clarity and next steps. No commitment required.
Ongoing coaching is for when you want a strategic partner in your corner consistently. We work together over weeks or months to build systems, refine strategy, address challenges as they arise, and keep you accountable. It's about sustainable growth, not just a one-time fix.
Some clients start with the Revenue Reset to test our fit, then move into ongoing coaching once they see the value. Others know they want long-term support and jump straight into a package.
Question: How long do typical business coaching engagements last?
Short answer:
It depends on your goals. Some people get what they need in a single session, others partner with me for a few months, and some stick with me for a year or longer as they scale.
Expanded answer:
There’s no universal timeline. Some entrepreneurs need short, focused support to get unstuck and build momentum, which is why the Momentum Package is three months. Others want a longer runway to scale, so they work with me for six or twelve months.
What matters is fit, not forever. Start with what matches where you are. We can always extend or adjust as your goals evolve. And just so we’re clear: RUN from any coach who tries to keep you dependent. My job is to transfer the skills, systems, and clarity you need so you can keep growing long after our engagement ends.
Question: Do you work with startups or established businesses?
Short answer:
I work with revenue-generating startups and established businesses that are ready to grow smarter, not harder.
Expanded answer:
My best work happens with solopreneurs, small business owners, and early-stage leaders who have already proven their concept. You’re not sketching ideas on a napkin. You’re generating revenue, juggling too much, and bumping into bottlenecks that are slowing you down.
If you’re building a team, expanding operations, or trying to scale without burning yourself (or everyone around you) out, you’re exactly who I support. I help you tighten operations, focus on what drives profit, and build systems that support real, sustainable growth.
If you’re still in pure ideation, pre-revenue, or trying to figure out product-market fit, my work won’t serve you well yet. I’m designed for businesses that are already moving, so we can refine, strengthen, and accelerate your growth.
Question: What industries do you specialize in?
Short answer:
I work across industries. What matters more than your field is your commitment to growth and your willingness to execute on the plans we create together.
Expanded answer:
I’ve partnered with everyone from real estate agents and creative pros to consultants, financial services firms, and tech leaders. The truth is, you already know your business and your industry better than I ever could. What I bring is the strategic backbone: the methodologies, structure, and business acumen that help you turn what you know into consistent growth.
My clients tend to be service-based businesses and B2B companies where the owner or leader is carrying way too much and needs clarity, systems, and direction. If you’re drowning in complexity and want to operate with intention again, we’re likely a strong match, no matter what industry you’re in.
You bring the expertise. I bring the methodology and structure. Together, we build the growth.
Question: Can you help with an AI strategy for my business?
Short answer:
Yes. I'm a Google Cloud Gen AI Leader certified and help businesses integrate practical AI tools without the overwhelm.
Expanded answer:
AI doesn't have to be complicated or intimidating. I'm a certified Google Cloud Gen AI Leader, which means I bring practical, grounded insights on using AI responsibly, without drowning you in tech jargon or tools you'll never use. We focus on what benefits your business: using AI to save time, improve accuracy, and make smarter decisions faster. No hype, no overengineering. Just a practical application that augments how you already work.
Question: What if I'm not sure coaching is right for my business?
Short answer:
Book a free 20-minute intro call so we can assess fit and determine whether I can actually help you.
Expanded answer:
Being selective about where you invest your time and money is smart. That’s why I offer two low-commitment ways to explore working together.
Start with a free 20-minute intro call. We’ll talk through your challenges, what you’re trying to achieve, and whether coaching is the right solution for you right now. It’s an honest assessment, not a sales script.
If you want deeper clarity, the Revenue Reset Session is a 90-minute strategy intensive for $395. You’ll walk away with clear priorities and a customized action plan you can use whether we work together again or not.
Both options let you evaluate fit, value, and direction before making any bigger commitment.
Question: What results can I expect from business coaching?
Short answer:
Clarity, focus, better systems, and measurable revenue growth. Your results depend on how you implement the strategies we build together.
Expanded answer:
I’m not here to sell fairy dust or promise you’ll 10x your revenue in a month. That’s not how real, sustainable growth works. What I can promise is that you’ll get clear on what drives profit, what drains it, and what needs to change. You’ll build systems that make your business easier to run, and you’ll stop wasting hours on work that doesn’t matter.
Clients typically see:
Faster, more confident decision-making
Clearer priorities and better time management
Improved profitability through focused strategy
Less overwhelm and more sustainable habits
Measurable revenue growth (like the 42 percent increase a client achieved)
Here’s the part most coaches gloss over: the results come from your follow-through. I bring the strategy, structure, and accountability. You bring the execution. When show up together, the ROI is real and lasting.
Question: How is business coaching different from consulting?
Short answer:
Coaching helps you build the skills to solve problems. Consulting delivers solutions for you.
Expanded answer:
Think of it this way: a consultant diagnoses your problem and hands you the solution. A coach partners with you to uncover the solution together and builds your capacity to handle future challenges on your own.
At Red Zebra Coaching, I blend both approaches. Sometimes you need me to bring expertise and framework (that's the consulting side). My real focus is helping you develop the thinking, systems, and skills to lead your business with confidence.
You're not outsourcing your strategy to me. You're building your own strategic capability with my guidance and support.
Question: What happens in a typical coaching session?
Short answer:
We zero in on your biggest challenge, tie it back to your overall goal, map your next steps, and lock in accountability before the next session.
Expanded answer:
Every session is tailored, but the structure is consistent because it works. We’re not wandering through whatever popped into your inbox that morning. We’re moving you toward your larger objective, one focused step at a time.
Check-in: What’s working, what’s not, and what’s standing between you and your larger goal right now.
Deep dive: We cut through the noise, get to the real issue, and look at the options that will drive progress.
Strategy and action: We build a clear plan tied directly to your long-term objective, with specific actions you can implement immediately.
Accountability: We define what you’ll execute before we meet again and how we’ll measure momentum.
Sessions run 60–90 minutes, depending on your selected service. No generic pep talks, no filler, no theory you can’t use. Every conversation pushes your business forward in a tangible way.
Question: What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Short answer:
Life happens. Give me 24 hours’ notice, and we’ll reschedule without any issue.
Expanded answer:
I get that things happen - unplanned meetings, client emergencies, illness, etc. If you need to cancel or reschedule, just let me know 24 hours in advance, and we’ll find a new time that works for you. No penalty, no friction.
For session-based clients, cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or any no-show will be charged the full session fee. If last-minute rescheduling becomes habitual, a $250 fee will be added. This protects both our time and keeps you accountable to the work you’ve committed to.
For package clients, unused sessions are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. After 12 months, any remaining sessions are forfeited. No-shows count as a used session and will be forfeited. The goal of this policy is simple: value our time, maintain accountability, and ensure steady progress toward your goals.

Here's the truth: The best way to know is to talk.
